Executive Director  Nick Johnson is married to Dana (Forthun) and they have two children and a dog. They live in Williston where they enjoy taking walks to the park, going camping and enjoying their children. Dana is employed at Mercy Medical Center as the Gift Shop Manager.Nick's duties include overseeing the day-to-day operation of the ministry, working with the 12-member board of directors, supervision of staff and publicity of the ministry. If you have questions for Nick, contact him today.  Program DirectorMarti Rokke graduated from Concordia College with degrees in Religion and Child/Family Studies. She joined the UMM team in August of 2005 and is the Program director for the camp. Marti lives in Williston with her pride and joy — her spunky, energetic cat named Ziggy. As program director, Marti oversees all aspects of programming at Upper Missouri Ministries. Marti greatly appreciates the time outdoors that her job affords her and also all the wonderful opportunities to work with the great kids that come to UMM. She strives to make every experience at UMM a memorable one.  Office ManagerJennifer Ryan joined the UMM staff in January 2007. Jen lives with her husband Vern and their five children; Beth, Klae, Colt, Emily and Cody, 2 dogs and 1 cat in Ray. Jen & her family moved to Ray in 1999 when Vern was hired at NCC in Ray. Both Jen and Vern are from the east side of the state originally, Jen growing up on a farm south of Lakota, and Vern growing up on a farm near Tolna. Jen has spent the past 14 years managing a growing family and large amounts of laundry, so she's looking forward to the change of pace that managing the UMM office will offer. |
